Raipur, Chhattisgarh: In view of the increasing cases of corona infection at the global level, Chhattisgarh Health Miner TS Singh Deo asked the officials of the health department to keep alert and improve all the arrangements for the investigation, treatment, prevention, and control of corona. 
He inquired about the availability of RT-PCR and antigen kits for testing and the current status of essential medicines and other consumables. He has asked all the dricts to conduct mock drills along with informing about the actual status of ventilators, monitors, ICU, and oxygen arrangements.
On the other hand, the Health Miner said that contact tracing should be done if found Covid-19 positive, and positive cases should be treated immediately. He has urged common people to follow covid protocols and wash hands frequently with soap and water or use an alcohol-based sanitizer. Drict Collectors have directed the officers to monitor that the people of the dricts follow all the rules.
“The l of those coming from international flights is being collected the Health Department. Their travel hory and health problems are being investigated. To increase the testing numbers, the government has decided to purchase 2 lakh additional kits of RT-PCR and antigen. Now there will be a target of 5 thousand tests daily”, the CMO Office said in an official statement.
As on December 26, not a single new corona-infected patient was found in the state. 1399 samples were tested. Thus, the positivity rate in the last 24 hours is 0.00. There is not a single active patient of coronavirus in 26 dricts of the state. There is only 1 active patient in Durg and 7 in Raipur, who are being monitored the adminration.
