C’garh CM unveils Rs 5,220 crore development projects
As the second wave of Covid-19 abates, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has unveiled development works worth more than Rs 5,220 crore for different districts through nine virtual programmes.
On June 18, Baghel will inaugurate and do bhumi pujan of development projects worth Rs 111 crores for Korba district and worth Rs 122.96 crores for Janjgir-Champa district, an official communication said on Thursday.
The virtual iauguration programmes started from June 8.
That day, Baghel inaugurated development works worth about Rs 400 crores in Balod district and gifted new works worth Rs 287.87 crores in Durg district.
On June 9, development works worth Rs 270 crores were unveiled for Mahasamund district and worth Rs 295 crores for Balodabazar-Bhatapara district.
Development works worth about Rs 225 crores were unveiled for Kabeerdham district on June 10, and worth Rs 358 crores for Gariaband district and Rs 556 crores for Rajnandgaon district on June 11.
Projects worth Rs 271.51 crore were presented to Dhamtari district and worth Rs 276.12 crores to Mungeli district on June 12.
This was followed by Rs 172.65 crores worth of projects for Bemetara district, worth Rs 120.09 crores for Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district and worth Rs 561.32 crores for Raipur district on June 13, worth Rs 308.31 crores for Raigarh district on June 14, worth Rs 283.70 crores for Jashpur district, worth Rs 247.91 crores for Sarguja district and worth Rs 76.52 crore for Balrampur-Ramanujganj district on June 15.
Surajpur and Korea districts got development works worth Rs 16 crores and Rs 244 crores respectively on June 16. Projects worthRs 50 crores have been inaugurated and launched for Sukma and Bijapur districts.
