C’garh Model stands for inclusive development:CM
Chhattisgarh’s model of development is inclusive which seeks harmony, compassion and participation of all at its core, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Sunday.
This model follows the path of forefathers without tampering with the old values but going ahead with reforms, he said.
In the last three years, the state government has undertaken consistent efforts to uplift poor and weaker sections of the society like never before, Baghel said.
Speaking in the 24th episode of the monthly radio programme of Lokvaani, Baghel said Chhattisgarh has set a new paradigm of development and justice and transformed the identity of the state.
“The biggest achievement in the last three years is the people realizing their rights and opportunities, witnessing the actual progress in every sector of development, watching their dreams come true,” he said.
He said the works done in the state got reflected in the 25 awards conferred by the Central government in different sectors.
On farmers, he said less the input cost, more is the profit on the output, making cultivation a profitable occupation. This is why farmers’ loans were waived off, input subsidy was provided and paddy was procured at Rs 2,500 per quintal.
