Chhattisgarh All Set to Celebrate Hareli Tihar
CG to commence Hareli Tihar celebration from July 28th.CM to launch Go Mutra procurement scheme.Kisaan Sammelan will be also be organized in village Karsa.
Raipur: The Bhupesh Baghel state is all set to celebrate the Hareli Tihar with great enthusiasm starting from 28th July.
CM Bhupesh Baghel will launch a number of schemes’ including- Gau Mutra launch procurement of ‘go-mutra’ (cow urine) on the occasion as part of its flagship schemes–Godhan Nyay Yojana.
Kisaan Sammelan will be also be organized in village Karsa. He will also speak on topics related to farming and felicitate farmers on their achievements.
Chhattisgarh is a state with rich culture, tradition and customs which are unique. It is the need of hour to raise cultural awareness of local traditions in youth celebrating our state’s festivals with great zeal and enthusiasm. We must feel proud about our state’s cultural legacy and celebrate ‘Hareli’ with great fervour”, said Baghel.
Preparations for this grand celebration of Hareli festival have started in full swing at the Raipur-based residence of Chief Miner. On this occasion, folk dances such as Sua, Karma, Dadriya and Gedi will be presented Chhattisgarhi folk arts and Hareli songs will be sung as well. It is noteworthy that Hareli festival has been declared a public holiday in Chhattisgarh Chief Miner Mr. Bhupesh Baghel.
Hareli marks the beginning of Shravan month and is considered to be the first festival of the state. This festival is of special significance for the farmers. On this auspicious occasion, farmers worship their farm equipment and cows and celebrate this festival with great pomp and show.
