Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel Launches Rs 1,000-Crore Projects in Tribal Areas
Raipur: On the occasion of World Tribal Day, Chief Miner Bhupesh Baghel of Chhattisgarh laid the foundation for 2,848 development projects, with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore. As the assembly elections draw near, the active involvement of the CM in ceremonies held in Jagdalpur, the town of Bastar drict, and Sitapur in Surguja drict highlights his adminration’s commitment to improving the well-being of communities in the state.
The government, led Baghel, has shown its dedication to education establishing Bachelor of Education (BEd) and Diploma in Education (DEd) colleges across seven dricts in the Bastar region. Additionally, a visionary plan to build a stadium worth Rs 100 crore was unveiled for Jagdalpur.
During his visit to Sitapur, Baghel emphasized the government’s determination to safeguard and promote traditions and heritage. He announced the establishment of a center in Surguja that mirrors the Bastar Academy of Dance, Art and Literature (BADAL), which has been lauded for its efforts in preserving the rich legacy of Bastar.
Expressing his commitment during his visit to Sitapur, Chief Miner Baghel stated, “Our mission is to showcase Chhattisgarhs tapestry on an international platform. It is vital for people, around the world to appreciate our states rooted hory.”
“We are dedicating all our efforts and resources to safeguard this gem.”
He also stressed, “In Jagdalpur the Bastar Academy of Dance, Art and Literature (BADAL) serves as a testament, to our dedication in preserving the heritage. Understanding the communities in Bastar and Surguja we aim to establish a similar institution, in Surguja to achieve this goal.”
