Chhattisgarh govt appoints special team to handle public grievances online
RAIPUR: State government has constituted a separate team of high-ranking officials to look into the public grievances received online via the portal being launched in the state.
As a part of this endeavour, complaints related to public related works in government offices will be monitored in five departments, including revenue, disaster management, home, energy, health and urban administration. The online portal is expected to be launched by March 1.
Our sources said that secretary, energy department, Ankit Anand will be the coordinator of this team. National Health Mission Director ,Dr Priyanka Shukla, Home Department’s Special Secretary, Neha Champawat, Revenue Department’s Joint Secretary Hina Animesh Netam and State Urban Development Agency’s Additional Chief Executive Officer Ashish Tikriha will be the members of this core group.
Officials said that most of the complaints are expected from revenue, police, electricity and urban bodies departments, hence a separate team has been formed to handle the complaints involving these departments.
The team is expected to monitor the status of redressal of grievances received online. Information about the action taken will be given to the Additional Chief Secretary of Information Technology Department. Apart from monitoring the complaints, the team will also collect the feedback from people availing various welfare schemes. In future, there will also be an initiative to connect other departments, said sources.
State government is already operating a similar online monitoring portal called CG Camp Portal launched in November 2021; it is an advanced online platform for monitoring state government’s prominent schemes like Godhan Nyay Yojana, Chief Minister Haat Bazaar Clinic Yojana, Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan, CG E-District, Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme, Narva-Garva-Gurua-Ghurva-Badi Yojana etc.
Currently, the portal monitors the priority schemes in any district, evaluation of the progress during different time periods and also allows comparative assessment of the progress of schemes in various districts. Its integrated dashboard has real time information about major schemes of the state.
