Earlier in April 2022, the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of CM Baghel organized a grand inaugural event to mark the completion of the renovation and beautification work of the Shivrinarayan temple under the ambitious Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit. Through this, the devotees would be able to experience the spiritual memories related to Lord Rama from Harchouka in Sitamarhi to Ramaram in Sukma.
The ambitious project of ‘Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit’ aims to preserve the memories linked to Lord Ram’s stay in Chhattisgarh during his exile from Ayodhya. Nine key locations of the route of Lord Ram’s 14 years of exile, known as ‘Ram Van Gaman Path’ were identified last year for beautification work, said chief miner.
