CM Baghel Unveils ‘Lakshya’ at PTS, Mana

Raipur: On Thursday, Chief Miner Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated a brand firing range called ‘Lakshya’ at the Police Training School (PTS) in Mana, Raipur. This state-of-the-art facility, built at a cost of Rs 6.67 crore aims to provide training for the Chhattisgarh Police.
Along with the inauguration, the Chief Miner also launched a fleet of police vehicles illustrating the state’s commitment to strengthening its law enforcement capabilities. He also marked the commencement of infrastructure projects including a cyber station, advanced women’s help desks, and other police facilities.
During the event, CM Baghel emphasized the role played the police in maintaining peace and security throughout the state. He reiterated that the government is fully dedicated, to equipping them with resources and creating an environment for their work.
Expressing his satisfaction at the modernization efforts undertaken the government, Baghel celebrated the launch of ‘Lakshya’. He expressed confidence that such initiatives would not enhance the skills of the police force but also enable them to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
Baghel expressed appreciation, for the contributions of the police force during the four years and nine months acknowledging their commitment and diligence as essential factors behind the commendable state of law and order. 
During his speech Home Miner Tamradhwaj Sahu commended the progress and security-focused endeavors led CM Baghel. Director General of Police Ashok Juneja and Additional Director General Pradeep Gupta also discussed pioneering initiatives, within Chhattisgarh’s police services.
