CM Baghel’s Focus on Quality and Equity In Education

Raipur: The state of Chhattisgarh has made significant progress in education in recent years. The literacy rate has increased from 65.18% in 2001 to 84.05% in 2021, and the number of schools has increased from 12,000 to 20,000. The Swami Atmanand Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana is a scholarship scheme that provides financial assance to meritorious students from poor families. The scheme has helped to improve the enrollment and retention rates of students from marginalized communities.
Over 1 million children have benefitted from this yojana. CM Baghel has given Rs. 1.5 lakh to meritorious students of Chhattisgarh’s Education Board under this scheme.

CM Baghel’s cabinet has also introduced a number of innovative policies to improve the quality of education, such as the Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools and the Swami Atmanand Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana.
The Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools are a network of government schools that offer free education in English. The schools have been a huge success, with over 1.5 million students enrolled.
The state government is committed to providing quality education to all children in Chhattisgarh. The education policy is designed to achieve this goal focusing on equity and quality. The state government is investing in education building new schools, providing scholarships, and training teachers. CM Baghel is also working to improve the quality of education introducing new curriculum and assessment methods.
