CM Bhupesh Baghel Leads Unity Celebrations on Bharat Jodo Yatra’s First Anniversary
Raipur- The first anniversary of the significant “Bharat Jodo Yatra,” initiated Rahul Gandhi, the Congress party’s seasoned leader, is commemorated on September 7. Chhattisgarh’s Congress adminration, led Chief Miner Bhupesh Baghel, sets the stage for a series of celebratory events across the state to mark this milestone.
Last year, this monumental journey, touted as the lengthiest-ever padyatra undertaken an Indian politician, spanned an impressive 12,750 km, traversing through 76 states and two Union Territories, covering 136 dricts and a substantial number of Lok Sabha constituencies in a yet-to-be-specified number of days. Rahul Gandhi, the erstwhile president of the Congress party, ignited a spark of unity and harmony during this expedition, captivating millions with his steadfast commitment to fostering love and integration among the diverse communities residing in India.
To echo the essence of this horic campaign, the Baghel government is spearheading activities on a grand scale in Chhattisgarh on September 7. This includes organizing “Bharatiya Jodo Padyatra” and “Bharat Jodo Sammelan” in every drict and block headquarters throughout the state. These initiatives involve foot marches and symposiums aimed at reigniting the spirit of solidarity that was the hallmark of the original yatra.
The commemorative events will commence with a Bharat-Jodo padyatra from 5 pm to 6 pm on the said date, culminating in a grand public gathering, the Bharat Jodo Sammelan. CM Baghel aims to reignite the unity and camaraderie that Rahul Gandhi ignited during his legendary journey last year through these endeavours.
