The chief minister said that this programme was dedicated to employment and self-employment of the youth of Uttar Pradesh. He said the programme, organised by combining the seven components of Kaushal Satrang, was a commendable effort.
The chief minister said that in the ODOP scheme, the state government had found a means for the prosperity of the state. He pointed out that through this scheme, five lakh youth had got employment in a year. He said that on account of the popularity of the ODOP scheme, a separate budget had been earmarked for it for all the states in the Union Budget this time.

“Every person gets an opportunity in life, but there are challenges to meet that opportunity. Only the person who turns challenges into opportunities can succeed in life. This is extremely important for our youth and for a state like Uttar Pradesh. The objective of the Skill Development Mission is to inculcate such thinking among the youth,” he said.

“There should be employment and self-employment programmes for youth at district and tehsil level. Kaushal Satrang will enhance the colours in the lives of the youth, they will get new direction and will get immense employment opportunities,” he said.
