CM plants sapling, asks people to follow suit

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday showed his commitment towards environmental conservation by planting saplings of Harra and Char at his residential premises here and urged people across the state to do likewise.

Baghel appealed to everyone to plant saplings and also nurture and protect them to make the environment clean and green, an official communicaion said.

The Chief Minister had planted a Bohar sapling at his residence last year on the occasion of World Environment Day. It has now grown to a height of 5 feet.
