CM spreads green message by planting saplings

Spreading a message to conserve forests, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is planting a sapling every day during his outreach programme named ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’.

On Friday, he planted a sapling of Jamun at the cemetery premises of Gandhian social worker Padmashree Mata Rajmohini Devi in Govindpur village.

The government has included environment protection and conservation as an important component in the strategy of governance to strengthen the rural economy.

The Chhattisgarh government is making consistent efforts to promote the cause of environment conservation through various schemes and programmes.
