Compliance to protocol needed for prevention of COVID-19: Baghel
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday called on officials to ensure compliance to the protocol to prevent Covid-19 infection.
Reviewing the status of Covid cases and preventive measures taken in the municipal councils of Raipur and Durg, Baghel admitted that the people were going through a difficult time.
He gave instructions for better management of hospitals, to provide easy access to Covid treatment and medicines, and to ensure adequate availability of oxygen beds and life-saving medicines.
He emphasized the need to speed up the vaccination drive.
The Chief Minister Baghel gave strict instructions to ensure regular cleaning and garbage disposal in each and every locality of the urban bodies.
He sought compliance to the protocol for prevention of Covid infection. He gave necessary instructions to rigorously conduct Covid test of people at airports, railway stations and bus stands.
