Congress Haryana MLAs On Party Training In Raipur
Hooda has denied the speculation of horse-trading Congress MLAs in Raipur training session.Congress was in a comfortable position to ensure party candidate Ajay Maken’s win.Hooda expressed strong displeasure at the government’s announcement.
Raipur: Denying fear of poaching made the Congress shift all its Haryana MLAs to Raipur ahead of the Rajya Sabha polls, former chief miner Bhupinder Singh Hooda said they were only undergoing party training there.
When asked about three MLAs skipping the event, he said MLA Chiranjeev Rao had reached there on Friday while Tosham MLA Kiran Choudhry had to stay away due to health reasons. MLA Abhay Chautala, Hooda said, “He sought votes from the farmers against the BJP-JJP coalition in the elections. He should reveal whether he will vote for the same BJP-JJP supported candidate or Congress candidate.”
Hooda, who is also the leader of opposition in Haryana, expressed strong displeasure at the government’s announcement of shifting the Rohtak mini secretariat and judicial complex out of the city and added that he will not allow it to happen as long as he is alive.
Meanwhile, in Raipur, some senior MLAs claimed that Congress was in a comfortable position to ensure party candidate Ajay Maken’s win despite the entry of an independent candidate. Besides holding interactive sessions, they are even pursuing their individual interests.
