Covid: CM Yogi advises caution
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked officials concerned to take caution towards COVID-19, saying that an effective system of prevention and treatment from the novel coronavirus should be maintained.
The chief minister was on Monday reviewing the lockdown unlock at a high-level meeting at his official residence here.
He emphasised that people should be constantly made aware of ways to prevent coronavirus by social distancing and mandatory use of masks in public places.
The chief minister stressed that there should be infrared thermometer, pulse oximeter and rapid antigen test facility at railway stations, bus stations, and airports. He said Covid tests should be conducted at full capacity along with contact tracing.
Directing the officials to conduct Covid vaccination as per the guidelines and order of the Government of India, the chief minister said that the vaccination campaign should be regularly reviewed by all the district magistrates and chief medical officers.
“The Integrated Command and Control Centre should be effectively operated and a wing should be created in it to inform people about vaccination,” he said.
