Eco-friendly IIT Campus In Bhilai To Use Wind Energy From High Rise Tower

Bhilai: Even though the new IIT BHILAI building in Chhattisgarh appears to be constructed of iron and concrete, it is anything but ordinary. How we think about sustainable living is actually about to change because of this eco-friendly masterpiece. Every part of the campus has been planned with a Net Zero approach in mind, according to Rajeev Prakash, the institute’s director.
This ensures that no water will be wasted, and solar and wind energy will be used to produce all energy. The structure has solar panels that capture solar energy and sell any surplus to the grid.
The sustainability initiatives at IIT BHILAI, however, are primarily focused on water use. The idea is to prevent any water from  being wasted on campus. STP plants have been set up for this purpose, and rainwater collection is being used. To avoid any moure from being destroyed, all water used on campus will be collected, processed, and then given for drinking or irrigation.
IIT BHILAI is generally leading the way in sustainable living, and it is an encouraging example of what can be accomplished when we give the well-being of our world a high priority.
