Encounter Between Naxal and Security Forces; Heavy Cache Recovered

Heavy firing between Naxal and STF, CRPF and DRF jawans.No causalities reported. Jawans seize heavy cache from the Naxals camp.

Gariaband: Heavy firing was reported from Bhimatikara forest area on Wednesday morning during an operation launched STF, CRPF and DRF in the naxal dominated Shobhna area. Around 12-15 naxals retaliated on seeing the security forces and fled the area. No causalities from either side were reported, however, the forces recovered a huge cache.

Naxal literature and gadgets like a Samsung tablet, 1 walkie talkie, 1 INAS magazine, two bomb cartridges,1 solar plate along with its wiring panel, 1 Naxal uniform, 10 Electronic detonators, an electronic switch used in detonation and few medicines from the Naxal camp.
