Fire At Kotwali Police Station, Several Vehicles Gutted

Raipur: Several bikes parked near Raipur Police Station were set on fire early Sunday morning. Many vehicles were destroyed in fire. As the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, the police is still investigating the whole matter.
The incident took place in Raipur City and is reported in Kotwali Police Station premises. At 3 AM in the morning the fire brigade team was informed about the fire and the team reached the spot to extinguish the fire. The fire was brought under control after about one to two hours of struggle.
Despite the risk, sources reveal that the electricity department had not cut the electricity of the area. The police staff was present in the police station at the time of the accident, but no one got any information when the bike got fire. After two hours of struggle, the fire team could finally extinguish the fire. The building close to the police station had residents of police family members. No casualities have been reported so far.
