IMD Issues Yellow Alert for Rainfall in Several Dricts of CG
RAIPUR: The IMD predicted rainfall/thunderstorm activity over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh on Friday. The weather watchdog has issued a yellow alert for 22 dricts in CG, predicting thundershowers and lightning in the next four hours.
The affected areas include Jaspur, Surajpur, Balrampur, Surguja, Pendra road, Korba, Mungeli, Bilaspur, Janjgir, Kabirdham, Bematara, Balodabazar, Rajnandgaon, Durg, Raipur, Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Bijapur, Sukma, Bastar.

Meanwhile, IMD has predicted isolated hailstorms over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Jharkhand and East Rajasthan for Friday. Isolated heavy rainfall is also expected in Jammu and Kashmir as well.
Under the influence of western durbances isolated to scattered rainfall with thunderstorms likely over the western Himalayan region during many days of the week (6th April 12th April), IMD said. It added due to trough or cyclonic circulation of another peninsular India isolated to scattered rainfall with thunderstorms or likely over the southern peninsula and central India during many days of the week.
