Independence Day: Chief Miner Bhupesh Baghel Announces Major Decisions
Raipur: To promote the landscape, in Chhattisgarh, Chief Miner Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has introduced the “Chhattisgarh Sahitya Akademi Award” in three categories. This initiative aims to recognize writers who contribute to;
1. Writing in Chhattisgarhi dialects like Gondi, Halbi, Sargujia, Kurukh, and more.
2. Poetic compositions in Hindi.
3. Prose works in Hindi.
Winners from each category will receive a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh along with a citation.
In addition, Chief Miner Baghel emphasized the importance of ensuring women’s safety, dignity, and identity making a declaration. He expressed his adminration’s commitment to protecting women’s rights. As a result, individuals found guilty of crimes against women, such as molestation and rape will face consequences including disqualification from government employment opportunities.
In the realm of sports, Chhattisgarh is all set to acknowledge talents. At the state level, Chhattisgarh Olympics participants between the ages of 10 and 18 who secure place in events like jump, 40-meter race, and wrestling will be honored as “outstanding players.” This new regulation will come into effect this year.
In a step in the field of agriculture CM Baghel has acknowledged the results of granting agricultural status to fish and lakh farming. As part of this continued progression, silkworm and beekeeping will now also be included under the domain, in Chhattisgarh. This decision is aimed at giving recognition and support to these industries ensuring they can avail the benefits associated with activities.
