Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday announced the waiver of examination fee for candidates appearing for competitive examination conducted by the Special Junior Staff Selection Board.

In Bastar and Surguja, the examination is conducted for Class III and IV posts through the Board. Only the local domicile residents of the respective regions can take part in the examination, an official communication said.

The Chief Minister made the announcement after a National Students Union of India (NSUI) delegation urged him to waive off the examination fees of competitive examinations.

The NSUI delegation said that it was a great relief to the students of weaker sections and many other candidates who faced problems due to financial constraints.
