Look out for Narayan Chandel’ Son Continues; Special Teams Formed

RAIPUR: Teams formed the CG police have been raiding several locations in search of the absconding son of BJP state leader Narayan Chandel who is accused of sexually exploiting a tribal girl on the pretext of marriage, impregnating her, and coercing her to abort.
Separate teams have been formed to look for the accused Palash Chandel, the CG Police said. “He is absconding till now. We have got some leads and are working on it,” said Vijay Agarwal, superintendent of police of the Janjgir-Champa drict.
Two separate FIRs have been booked against Palash Chandel, the recent one being at the Mahila Thana. The first one was filed in SC &ST act Police station. A case has been regered against Palash under sections 367(2)(n) (committing rape repeatedly on the same woman) and 313 (causing miscarriage without woman’s consent) of the Indian Penal Code in Raipur, and later forwarded to Janjgir-Champa police.
