Man Kicks Woman Repeatedly As Two Groups Clash
Raipur: In a video that has gone viral on social media over the weekend, a group of party going boys and girls could be seen fighting and abusing each other outside a premium hotel in the state capital. Though it is not clear when the incident took place, it appears to be a late night incident wherein youths are seen dispersing on camera with two of them fleeing the spot.
After condemnation citizens, Raipur police took cognizance and lodged a case. Four boys and two girls have been arrested so far at the time of this report going to press. According to information, the incident took place on VIP Road where girls and boys are seen thrashing and verbally abusing eachother on road while others are trying to escape.
The boys were seen kicking and pushing the girls to the ground and the girls retaliating. It appears that they entered into a scuffle after an argument while they were walking out of the hotel. Police said that the patrolling team was informed about the incident and as they reached the spot, the youths fled. There was no complaint lodged at any police station either of the group.
Police, however, have lodged a case under Section 160 of the IPC and are investigating the matter based on CCTV footage and details are being retrieved from the hotel authorities. Several hotels and cafés located on VIP Road host late night parties which in the past one year have caused nuisance. Earlier, in a similar scuffle at a club at VIP Road, bullets were fired and people had assaulted eachother.
