Maos Torch Vehicles Engaged In Mining Work

Kanker: Maos set four vehicles on fire at an iron ore mine in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker drict today morning. No one was injured in the incident, sources confirmed. A group of Maos had reached near the Chargaon iron ore mine of a private firm in Siksod police station area in the wee hours and torched two trucks and as many sports utility vehicles (SUV) which were packed there.
The vehicles torched Maos have been engaged in mining-related work. After torching the vehicles, Maos fled into forest. As soon as the police team reached and began investigation, a search operation was launched to nab the culprits.
