Mega Show Organised For LGBT Community In Raipur

A mega fashion and dance show, ‘Twilight’ took place in Raipur to showcase the performances of the LGBT community.The onlookers were stunned over the performances of the transgenders.Award winner Kathak performer, Yuvraj Badh of Raipur performed on Shiv Vandana.

Raipur: A mega fashion and dance show, ‘Twilight’ took place in Raipur to showcase the performances of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans (LGBT) community. the program was organised at the Mukta-Kashi platform of the Department of culture. The onlookers were stunned over the performances of the transgenders.

In the concluding session, the first performance was given the arts of Swaragini Group from Ratanapur. The arts danced on Ganesh Vandana, Saraswati Vandana, Dhar of the state song Arpa Parri, Chhattisgarhi Sua Geet, Karma Geet, Dadaria, and Holi ke Phag Geet.

Award winner Kathak performer, Yuvraj Badh of Raipur performed on Shiv Vandana and received accolades for his style in Kathak Tihai. A team of arts from Odisha danced on Bollywood theme and a fashion show was organized Siddhant Behera, a designer from the third gender community. The show showcased the contribution of LGBT community in spheres of art and culture.
