Minor Rape Accused Sentenced to 30 years RI in CG

Sakti Drict, CG : A Fast Track Court sentenced rape accused for 30 years of RI for raping and threatening minor in Sakti drict for three months. Special Judge Yashwant Kumar Sarathi pronounced the punishment and imposed a fine if Rs 12,000 under POSCO Act.
As per preliminary investigation the accused Subham Mishra, raped a 14 year old girl at her residence in the middle of the night and threatened to kill her family members if she revealed about the incident. However, her parents who caught the accused red handed on being alerted, approached the police and filed a complaint. A case was filed under IPC section 376, 506 Part 2 and 405 POSCO Act. He was lodged at Sakti PS after being arrested following the complaint.
