Narendra Modi dares Rahul Gandhi to speak on Congress’ achievements for 15 minutes

This is not a BJP wave in Karnataka, but it is a BJP storm, said Narendra Modi addressing his first mega rally in poll-bound Karnataka.

He also said that the people of Karnataka are pinning hopes on BJP for a change. Modi also mocked the incumbent chief minister Siddaramiah for contesting from two seats. He said that Siddaramiah is scared, so he is contesting from two seats.

Karnataka mandate 2018 is a fight between dynastic politics versus people’s politics, stated Modi. Highlighting his govt’s achievement of rural electrification, he said, our government will move a step ahead by making electricity available in all households.

Congress is a party of Naamdar, whereas BJP is a party of Kaamdar, said Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took several digs at Rahul Gandhi, calling him a “Naamdaar” and challenging him to speak for 15 minutes without any paper, and in any language.

Reiterating his govt’s efforts to improve the conditions of farmers, he said, It is the NDA government that is working to transform the lives of farmers.

The farmers of Karnataka are benefiting from the various initiatives of the central government, said Modi.

Comparing the governance records of BJP and the Congress, Modi also challenged the Congress party to list down its achievements to the people of Karnataka.

Taking a jibe at the Congress leadership, he said, Congress leadership is unaware of India’s history and heritage. With such ignorance, how can they govern a country like India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi kickstarted his campaign blitzkrieg in Karnataka with his address in Santhemarahalli in Chamarajanagara district. He is visiting the state for the first time after election dates were announced.

He will address two more rallies today; one in AGM College ground in Udupi and the other in Chikkodi in Belagavi. More than a dozen rallies are expected to follow in the coming days.

Modi’s campaign blitzkrieg is seen as a counter to Rahul Gandhi’s Jan Aakrosh Rally that was held in Delhi’s Ramlila maidan.

In Udupi, a special invitation is being extended by BJP to all the people for Prime Minister’s rally in Udupi. Special teams of women volunteers have been deployed at the mandal level for this occasion as Prime Minister is coming to Udupi for the very first time.

Chief minister Siddaramaiah is also expected will undertake a 10-day state tour from Saturday. Siddaramaiah will commence the tour from Nipani town bordering Maharashtra.
