Naxals Kill 2 on Suspicion of Being a Police Informer

RAIPUR: Naxals brutally murdered the former deputy sarpanch and a villager suspecting them of being police informers in CGs Sukma police said on Wednesday.
The killings took place in the Narayanpur and Ondherpara areas of Bheji under Dhanora Police Station.
As per preliminary information, a group of suspected armed Naxals entered the house of Ramji Dodi in Jhara village and killed him slitting his throat. Narayanpur SP confirming the murder said that a probe into the matter has been launched. After being alerted about the incident, a police team was rushed to the spot that sent the body of the former sarpanch for post mortem.
In another incident a local villager in Ondhepara was killed late night on suspicion of being a police informer. A handwritten note was recovered from the spot, in which the Konta Area Committee of Maos has claimed responsibility for the murder and accused the victim of being a police informer, the official said.
