Naxals Torch Bus and Block Roads; Call for Band of Nov 22
KANKER: Naxals in a fit of rage torched a parked passenger bus in Koylibeda, Kanker in CG, and a mobile tower in the village PV 45 of Pakhanjur police station area, an official said.
A preliminary probe reveals the Naxals prior to setting the bus on fire, brought down the bus driver and conductor who were inside the stationed bus. The bus according to the information given the conductor belonged to Habiba Bus transport. It was also learned that the Naxalites blocked the road near Malanjkundum and threw pamphlets across 7 villages in the vicinity.
They demand justice for Naxals Darshan Padda and Jagesh Salam who were killed the security forces in a fake encounter, said an official quoting the message written on the banners tied around. Moreover, it is learned that they have called for a band on Nov 22, in Kondagaon, Narayanour, and Kanker.
