Over 1.74 crore Covid jabs administered in C’garh

As many as 1,74,40,152 doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in Chhattisgarh, the Health Department said on Wednesday.

A press statement said 1,29,18,724 people have got the first dose of the vaccine and 45,21,428 both the doses.Moreover, 310,208 health workers, 318,104 frontline workers, 56,46,848 people aged above 45 years and 66,43,564 citizens in the 18-44 age group have received the first dose.

Also, 257,299 health workers, 246,993 frontline workers, 26,05,741 above 45 years and 14,11,396 in the 18-44 age group have received both the doses.

The statement said a record 4.29 lakh doses were administered on September 20.

The earlier record was on June 26 when 350,492 persons were vaccinated on a single day.
