RR vs DC, tip-off XI: Dhruv Jurel comes in for Devdutt Padikkal, Abhishek Porel to replace Sarfaraz, Chetan Sarkariya for Mukesh Kumar

After losing their second match against Punjab Kings five runs, Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals would be looking to bounce back against struggling Delhi Capitals in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals, who had got abosloutely hammered in the first two games would be seeking redemption. Rajasthan are looking like a setlled squad barring a couple of weak links, while on the other hand, Ricky Ponting and David Warner will have a lot to ponder about to end the losing streak.
Indian Express argues the inclusion of Dhruv Jurel in place of Devdutt Padikkal in Rajasthan Royals batting line-up and left-arm seamer Chetan Sarkariya for Mukesh Kumar in Delhi Capitals playing XI.
Jurel for Padikkal
Playing his first IPL match, young wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel showed his potential against Punjab Kings. He walked out to bat at 124 for 6 in 15 with almost out of the grasp of Rajasthan Royals but he turned the tide with his blering 15-ball 32, which was studded with three fours and two sixes. The youngster almost took Rajasthan Royals home.
Jurel looks set to replace Devdutt Padikkal, who has looked all at sea in the first two games. Against Punjab, it was Padikkal’s streaky 26-balls 21 which cost the home side a win.
Porel for Sarfaraz
Abhishek Porel comes in as an “Impact Player” for Delhi Capitals during their last match against Gujarat Titans and the young wicketkeeper from Bengal looked promising. He scored a spunky 11-ball 20, including two sixes and was exceptional with the gloves. Porel has been included as Rishabh Pant’s replacemenet, who is ruled out of the tournament after the horriffic car accident he suffered last year.
In the first two games, Delhi gave part-time keeper Sarfaraz Khan the responsibility. The Mumbai cricketer not only struggled with the gloves but it has affected his batting as well. He scored a painful 34-ball 30 in Delhi’s six-wicket loss against Titans.
Sarkariya for Kumar
The Indian bowling talent in Delhi Capitals looks inadequate if one compares it with the other IPL teams. Delhi has spent Rs 5.5 crore on Bengal pacer Mukesh Kumar, who has made his marks in domestic cricket with his exploits in the red ball. In the two games he has played, Kumar has looked a misfit in this format. The Bengal pacer might get replaced left-arm seamer Chetan Sarkariya.
Venue Stats
Just the one game at the ACA Stadium in Barsapara. It looked pretty decent for batting with Punjab posting 197 and Rajasthan almost chasing it down with 192 in the second innings.
