Sanjay Dutt is Yogi Adityanath’s First Stop in ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ Campaign

Lucknow: Kickstarting his part of the BJP’s campaign ‘Sampark for Samarthan’, UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday met Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt at his official residence in Lucknow and presented him with a book on the life of PM Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister and Sanjay Dutt discussed many issues, including film production in the state.

Sanjay Dutt is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Prasthanam’ in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. Veteran actress Manisha Koirala will be playing a role alongside Sanjay Dutt amongst other big names of the industry like Jacky Shroff and Chunkey Pandey.

The BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, which is entering the final year of its current tenure, has started a drive called ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ in order to make people aware of its achievements. The campaign aims at meeting personalities from various fields, including entertainment and sports, to garner support for the 2019 elections.

As part of the campaign, BJP president Amit Shah met former Army chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag, former cricket captain Kapil Dev, yoga guru Ramdev, former Chief Justice of India RC Lohati, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit and industrialist Ratan Tata.
