Two MNREGA Workers Attacked Wild Tuskers
One MNREGA worker died in an elephant attack.Another severly injured.The incident took place on Friday morning in Seoni forest complex of Maladand of Marwahi forest range.
Chattisgarh: An MNREGA worker was killed a wild elephant attack in the Seoni forest complex of Maladand of Marwahi forest range.
Injured laborer Sahadev is being treated at the Marwahi Sub Health Center while Badiram succumbed to injuries while being treated.
As per the information given the Forest Department, the incident took place at 6am on Friday morning. On preliminary investigation it is learnt that the elephant that attacked the MNREGA workers was separated from his herd.
Reportedly, a herd of wild elephants entered Seoni-Maladand of Marwahi forest range of the drict, passing through Anuppur border of Madhya Pradesh.
