The Yogi government effected a major reshuffle in bureaucracy by transferring 20 IAS officers and appointing two secretaries in the Chief Minister’s secretariat and new Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow late on Monday night.
As per the list, UPSIDC MD Sanjay Prasad and Food Commissioner, Alok Kumar (Third) have been posted as secretaries in the CM secretariat.
Secretary, Medical Education, Mukesh Kumar Meshram will be the new Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow replacing Anil Garg, who has been made CEO of UP State Industrial Development Corporation in Kanpur.
Cane Commissioner Manish Chauhan has been posted as Food Commissioner while the department of Cane Commissioner was given as an additional charge to Principal Secretary, Sugarcane industry, Sanjay Bhusreddy.
Special Secretary in Agriculture Production Commissioner branch Mahendra Bahadur Singh was posted as Additional Cane Commissioner.
Secretary in Urban Development Vikas Gothwal was posted as MD of UP Jal Nigam while Special Secretary, Home, Sanjay Kumar Khatri and CDO, Ghaziabad, Ramesh Ranjan, have been made joint MDs of Jal Nigam. Additional Chief Secretary, Science and Technology, Kumar Kamlesh was shifted to Employment and Programme Implementation department.
Other officers transferred included Special Secretary, Primary Education, Chandrasekhar who was psoted as Additional Commissioner, Chitrakoot division.
Member Judicial, Board of Revenue, Prayagraj, Rajesh Kumar (Second) has been posted as Special Secretary of Sports while Member Judicial, Board of Revenue, Shyam Sunder Sharma was made Special Secretary in Civil Defence and Political Pension.
Similarly, MD of UP Small Industries Corporation, Kanpur, Bhavana Srivastava was made Member, Judicial, Board of Revenue, Prayagraj. Joint Director of Youth Welfare Surendra Prasad Singh was posted as Special Secretary, Information, Special Secretary in Rural Development Ram Manohar Mishra was posted as Member Judicial, Board of Revenue Prayagraj, Special Secretary of Rural Development Surendra Ram was made Special Secretary, PWD and Special Secretary of Environment Rupesh Kumar was made Special Secretary in Medical Education.
