Yogi stresses on speedy redressal public grievances
Advocating quality disposal of people’s problems, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that in every district, the district magistrate should regularly review the problems and redress public grievances at the earliest.
Instructing officials to make Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas (Tehsil Day) and Thana Day more effective, he said that problems should be resolved by the Revenue and Police departments expeditiously and satisfactorily.
The chief minister was on Monday reviewing the works of various departments at a high-level meeting at his official residence.
He also said that there was a possibility of fire accidents in the summer season and in view of this the revenue commissioner’s office and revenue administration at the district should remain active.
The chief minister directed that the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department actively examine the quality of food items sold in markets in view of the upcoming festival season. He also issued special instructions to check the quality of mustard oil being sold in the markets.
The chief minister also instructed officials to complete all the arrangements in time for wheat procurement work being started under the price support scheme from April 1, 2021. He said that all the mandis should be inspected randomly by forming teams to examine their functioning on the spot.
