Yogi’s public connect, emotional support distinguishes him

What makes Yogi Adityanath different from other leaders is his public connectivity and emotional support to the needy. This was evident on Sunday when on seeing an elderly saint in a wheelchair, the chief minister immediately went to meet him.

Mahant Omkarnath, who cannot walk because of his disability, had come in his wheelchair from Ram Janki temple in Kusumhi jungle area of Gorakhpur to take the blessings of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The chief minister, who is on a two-day visit to Gorakhpur, immediately went towards him and talked to him for a long time. When Omkarnath told the chief minister that he would be performing a yajna at his temple, Yogi promised to provide every possible help from his side.

While holding a Janata Darbar in Gorakhpur on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath heard the complaints of more than 500 people and directed the DM, SSP, IG and other officials not to make any delay in addressing the grievances of the complainants.

“The solution should also be in a qualitative manner so that the victim is satisfied,” the chief minister said.
As the novel coronavirus positive cases are on the rise in UP, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged people to strictly follow the Covid guidelines to prevent the transmission of the deadly virus.

He also directed officials to ensure that people wore masks when in public places and kept a distance of six feet with others.
