American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande rose to prominence after she appeared in the Nickelodeon TV shows Victorious and Sam & Cat. However, her breakthrough came after she essayed Annie in the eponymous musical at the Little Palm Family Theatre in Florida. Now, an old interview of her is going viral on the Internet. In it, the young art describes her excitement at being cast as the lead.“Ariana Grande’s first interview when she got her first role in a musical theatre,” read the caption of the video shared on Twitter. The clip opens with a reporter asking young Grande if Annie is her first-ever role and if she was scared to audition. To this, she affirms and says she was not afraid to audition. “It was actually fun. I was excited,” Grande is heard saying in the clip. As the video progresses, the interviewer asks how she felt when she learned about the big news. Grande replied, “I was like, celebrating. I was just so happy.”Watch the viral video below:
