Youth Unemployment Scheme: CG Govt Issues New Guidelines

RAIPUR: As the regration for the unemployment scheme is underway, the CG govt has issued new eligibility criteria. As per the criteria, youth enrolled in any drict employment and self-employment guidance center of Chhattisgarh for the past two years will also be provided the Unemployment Allowance.
The Chhattisgarh government will start rolling out its Unemployment Allowance scheme in the state from 1st April 2023 onwards. Under the scheme, the state government will give Rs 2,500 monthly allowance to unemployed youth in Chhattisgarh. A provision of Rs 250 crore has been announced in the budget this year.

The youth he/she must be a native of CG in the age group of 18 to 35 years who have passed Class XII, and with an annual family income of less than 2.50 lakh.
Mode of Payment
The allowance will be released into the bank account directly. The unemployed youth will also receive training for developing their skills, and consequently, get assance in finding work.
