Eklavya Model Residential School To Ensure Education For Tribal Kids

Raipur: Eklava Model Residential School (EMRS) will be inaugurated at Lailunga in Raigarh drict and Lundra in Sarguja drict during the upcoming academic session of 2022-23. A coaching centre will be opened where students who studied in the Eklava schools will be provided classes for the competitive exams.

An amount of Rs 15 crore has been approvedfor the construction of the building in SadduRaipur. In this coaching centre, class 12thpassed students from Eklavya schools will begiven coaching for various competitiveexams. Besides, a crash course has beenfinalised for the preparation of JEE and NEETexamination for the students of EklawaAdarsh Residential School in the academicsession 2021-22.

The proposed EMR School is aimed at making quality education accessible to tribal students in the remotest hinterlands of Nashik. The school to be constructed is part of the central government scheme and is spread across 15 acre of land.
