Nand Kumar Baghel Hospitalized in Raipur
Nand Kumar Baghel complained of stomach pain while in UP.He was checked at a local hospital in UP and brought to Raipur on a charted aircraft.Admitted at Sri Balaji Hospital Raipur; undergoing routine tests.
Raipur: Nand Kumar Baghel, father of CG CM Bhupesh Baghel who was in Khushianagar, Uttar Pradesh to attend a social program has been hospitalized, sources said. As per reports, senior Baghel complained of stomach pain during his stay in UP and was admitted to a local hospital in the city. However, as there was no progress in his health, he was immediately air-lifted to Raipur.
Nand Kumar Baghel, roughly around 86 years old is currently admitted to Sri Balaji Hospital Raipur and is being examined a team of experts. According to them, senior Baghel experienced pain in his abdomen due to excretory system issues.
Doctors have advised certain routine tests, following which they might be able to give a confirmed report on his health.
Around a year ago, Nand Kumar Baghel was arrested from Delhi in a case regered against him for allegedly making derogatory remarks against a community. He was charged under Indian Penal Code Sections 153-A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language) and 505(1)(b) (with intent to cause, or likely to cause, fear or alarm to the public, or to any section of public where any person may be induced to commit an offence against the state or against public tranquility).
