4 Dead as a Motorbike Collides with Pickup Vehicle

BALODABAZAR: In a tragic accident in Balodabazar, 4 including a child died on the spot. As per information received the police, a bike with 4 riders collided with a pickup vehicle near Vishnu Petrol Pump in Palari. The passer and the petrol pump staff informed the police immediately.
Those deceased are said to have been heading for a function when the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. In the CCTV footage extracted from the Petrol pump, the pickup vehicle is seen taking a turn rashly leading to the collision of the motorcycle on its rear side. The bodies were sent for postmortem.
The driver of the goods transport vehicle has been arrested said station in charge Purushottam Kurre adding that further investigation was underway.
