Three Police Officials from Chhattisgarh Awarded Medals for Investigative Excellence
Raipur: In the year 2023, a total of 140 police personnel were honored with the Union Home Miner’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation. Among these deserving recipients, three dedicated individuals from Chhattisgarh Police, Inspector Ashirvad Rahatgaonkar, Inspector Naveen Borkar, and Sub Inspector Ms. Neeta Rajput, received recognition for their investigative work.
Established in 2018 with the aim of promoting and acknowledging standards in crime detection and resolution, this prestigious medal is ceremoniously presented every year on August 12th. The dribution of these accolades reflects representation and highlights the diversity of agencies involved. Notably, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) boasts 15 awardees, while the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has 12 personnel on this l.
Furthermore, Uttar Pradesh proudly claims 10 recipients from its state-contingent, while Kerala and Rajasthan each have nine awardees. Tamil Nadu has eight honorees, followed Madhya Pradesh with seven, Odisha with four, Telangana with five, and Gujarat with six.
